With its' spectacular three kilometer stretch of gleaming white sands and shallow clear water, Klong Dao was the first beach to be developed on Ko Lanta, just over 5 years ago, and it's easy to see why.
Spectacular sunsets against a white sand landscape, excellent safe swimming conditions and variety of entertainment facilities make this the most popular beach for families on Ko Lanta. Despite this the huge beach never becomes over-crowded, and even in peak season just a short walk will find you a spot with some privacy.
The northernmost tip of this impressive beach ends with a dramatic headland called Kaw Kwang (Deer Neck) which sweeps south 3 kilometers to the Sea Gypsy long tail boat docking area.

Living on Klong Dao Beach is more convenience; just 2 kms to the main Pier for arrive and depart Ko lanta. It is the same pier to go other islands for diving and snorkeling. Saladan Town located here with many restaurants, dive schools, tour agents, banks and souvenir shops. |
